I started the new year off tracking my coupon savings. For the first quarter, I have saved a little over $400 in coupons. I am very careful to not buy things "just because I have a coupon" and I also buy the generic if it is cheaper. My goal for the next quarter is to save $600 in coupons. So far this month I have save $1.00....$599 to go.
