Is it a gift shelf or a gift drawer or closet......

What is the gift shelf you ask? For some it is a gift closet, others a gift drawer or box. For me it is really a combination of all the above. The gift shelf is a storage for gifts you buy all during the year and save. How does one stock the gift shelf? Sometimes I pick up things on the clearance tables at department stores, thrift shops, or garage sales. When my daughter was younger, I would buy things at the after Christmas sales for the next Christmas or for birthdays. Also, when she would receive 6 of the same gifts for her birthday, some of these would go on the gift shelf. With a little time and effort your gift shelf can be stocked for every occasion.
